Living and Learning Villages are residential communities where students, staff, and faculty learn side-by-side. Students actively choose to live together based on a common identity, skill, or academic interest. Village members develop personally and professionally in a tight-knit social atmosphere.
A living-learning village is a place where students, staff, and faculty are engaged around common learning outcomes to think and do in a shared residential environment. Villages provide connected curricular and co-curricular experiences to foster a sense of belonging, to cultivate an intellectually enriching environment, and to support the development of the whole student.
