EcoVillage LEADer in Sustainability Award

EcoVillage’s Leadership, Education, Application, Discovery in Sustainability Award

EcoVillage recognizes the residents that demonstrate active Leadership, Education, Application, and [self] Discovery of sustainability over the course of the academic year with three categories of our LEADer in Sustainability Award: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The categories differ by way of increasing time commitments and demonstration of self-discovery and leadership within sustainability-related roles. An award ceremony is held during our end-of-year celebration in April, which also happens to be Earth Month.

EcoVillage makes earning the criteria necessary to be recognized easy! Programs and activities are hosted on a regular basis, and transportation is provided to most staff-coordinated service projects for service hours. EcoVillage Expectation-earning opportunities are advertised through our Google events calendar, communicated through the Mentors and our BAND app, in Village newsletters, and emails from the Village Director.
