CJ serves as the assistant director for East Campus. The support and success of minority males has been a passion of his since middle school. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a degree in Criminal Justice and earned a master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration from Ball State University.

Jameco McKenzie, M.Ed. (He/Him/His) works in University Housing as a Residence Life Coordinator and also provides support and direction for several living-learning villages on East Campus. He has worked within University Housing since January of 2019 and is originally from Nassau, The Bahamas. He completed his undergraduate education at Methodist University and his graduate education at Salem State University. He is currently enrolled in a doctoral program in Organizational Leadership at Gardner Webb. He is very passionate about developing student leaders, organizational excellence, critical consciousness, cultivating equitable communities, and supporting underrepresented students through mentorship.
